Rugby International Tadhg Beirne gives Santa’s reindeers a pep talk on fueling up ahead of the big night with Barretstown Magical Reindeer Food
Irish Rugby international, Tadhg Beirne took some time to bestow some pre match rituals to Rudolph and his team of reindeer in preparation for Christmas Eve and their big night with Santa - delivering presents worldwide. Ireland’s favourite oat brand Flahavan’s has teamed up with Barretstown to produce Magical Reindeer Food. Providing slow release oaty energy and a good source of fibre, Barretstown Magical Reindeer Food is the perfect snack for Santa’s busy reindeer. A limited supply of Magical Reindeer Food is now available to families across Ireland through their local Lidl store.
Tadhg Beirne said, “I know the importance of fuelling up before a big game and that is why I am very keen that Rudolph and his team of reindeers are able to fuel up on Barretstown’s Magical Reindeer Food which has been made in partnership with Flahavan’s and is available in all Lidl stores. So, it would be great if families across Ireland could pick up a packet and leave out a snack for Rudolph and his team of reindeer so they can get the energy they need on Christmas Eve while supporting Barretstown too.”
Flahavan’s has been milling oats in Kilmacthomas, County Waterford for over 200 years, and in preparing the Barretstown Magical Reindeer Food they have used the highest quality locally-sourced oats for a wholesome and natural food perfect for Rudolph and his team of reindeer. Barretstown and Flahavan’s worked hard to ensure the Barretstown Magical Reindeer Food is environmentally friendly – only containing Flahavan’s Oats and sugar pearls.

Barretstown offers free therapeutic programmes at a unique specially designed campus in County Kildare and through outreach programmes in hospitals and schools throughout Ireland, for children and their families living with a serious illness.
