Crowe Announces Appointment of Lisa Kinsella as Tax Partner
Crowe is pleased to announce two significant appointments at the Dublin-based firm of accountants and business advisors with both internal and external appointments. Lisa Kinsella has been made Partner at the firm having spent the last two years at Tax Director while Alison D’Arcy has joined Crowe as Tax Director.
A Chartered Accountant of 12 years standing, Lisa Kinsella joined Crowe in 2012 bringing a combination of ‘Big 4’ and smaller practice experience. Following completion of her Chartered Accountancy articles, Lisa qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor where she was placed second in Ireland in her final examinations. Lisa oversees a comprehensive portfolio of both corporate and personal tax clients operating across a variety of sectors, such as hotel, tourism and leisure, retail, engineering and software as well as the not-for-profit sector. Corporately, in her work to date, Lisa has particular expertise in providing advice on optimum structures for share-based remuneration, company restructuring and providing guidance to FDI clients establishing operations within Ireland. From a personal tax perspective her expertise is called upon in advising high-net-worth clients on inheritance and tax planning issues.
Alison D’Arcy joins Crowe from RBK Accountants and Business Advisors bringing 17 years’ experience working across all areas of taxation. A Fellow of ACCA and an AITI Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), Alison specialises in family business taxation issues, estate and succession planning and tax efficient reward structuring.
The election of a new Partner and the recruitment of a new Tax Director are the latest in a series of appointments at Crowe reflective of its ongoing growth and broadening of its tax service offering. In recent months, Maeve Corr joined Crowe as Head of Private Client Services at the firm to lead the development of a practice division focused on providing advice in areas such as taxation, financial planning, debt structuring, retirement strategies, family governance and succession planning.
Speaking following the joint announcement, John Byrne, tax partner with Crowe, said: “I am delighted to announce Lisa Kinsella’s appointment as a partner to the firm, and the addition of Alison D’Arcy as director in the tax department. Since joining Crowe in 2012, Lisa has consistently proven herself as a trusted advisor to the firm’s clients providing practical, commercially-driven solutions that maximise long-term value. Alison is a highly experienced tax advisor and her appointment as director will further strengthen our tax offering to clients and support the firm’s continuing growth.”
Congratulating Lisa Kinsella on her appointment to Partner and welcoming Alison D’Arcy to the firm and, Naoise Cosgrove, Managing Partner of Crowe added: “The senior appointments at the firm reflect our commitment both to developing talent within Crowe and the attractiveness of joining a leading firm of accountants and business advisors with a team of trusted and experienced practitioners engaged in a broad range of assignments making a real difference for our clients.”
